Camp Xakanaxa

OVERVIEW

An original bush camp with a warm welcome and a small, intimate feel akin to the traditional safari experience. The 12 luxury safari Meru style tents are situated on raised decks and cooled by a unique sprinkler system. An elevated, thatched guest area is positioned to overlook the Khwai River and lagoon, and made up of an open-air lounge with large comfortable couches and an elegant dining area where wonderful meals are served. A plunge pool and sun deck overlook the Delta waterways, allowing guests to spend a lazy day in the sun.

Camp Xakanaxa is one of very few camps offering year-round land and water game viewing experiences in open game drive vehicles and motorised boats. The diverse habitat ensures prolific sightings of southern African wildlife including elephants, buffalo, lion and leopards, as well as antelope such as lechwe, kudu and wildebeest.
