There is surely no truer way to appreciate the magnitude and wonder of the Ngorongoro Crater, than from Entamanu Private where it’s done entirely on your own terms and schedule. A highland retreat designed to be entirely removable with minimal impact on this precious place.

Designed for private groups only, Entamanu Private has four rooms including two doubles and two twin-bed family suites. Built from timber, glass and canvas, all rooms have ensuite bathrooms and incredible crater views.

The perfect spot from which to set off on game drives, Entamanu Ngorongoro is well-located on the crater rim to enable a speedy descent to the crater floor, avoiding the later-day crowds. Highland walks along the crater rim are an excellent way to get close to nature; being at altitude the air is cool and crystal clear, perfect for a little exercise. It’s also possible to visit the village in the next valley, see cattle grazing in the conservation area and learn about pastoral life, hut building and warrior ceremonies.
