Namiri Plains

Before Namiri Plains was built, these grasslands were closed for 20 years to allow the cheetah population to restore. The nearest other camps are over an hour’s drive away so you can experience the vast plains all to yourself.

OVERVIEW

Namiri Plains Camp is a luxurious safari camp located in the remote and exclusive eastern Serengeti Plains of Tanzania. The camp consists of ten stylish and spacious tented suites, each with a private veranda overlooking the savannah. The suites are equipped with modern amenities, including en-suite bathrooms with hot showers and flush toilets. The camp is designed to blend seamlessly into its surroundings, providing an authentic bush experience while still offering a high level of comfort and luxury.

The camp is situated in the heart of the Serengeti’s big cat country, in an area that was closed to the public for over 20 years to allow for cheetah conservation. As a result, the area has an abundance of cheetahs and other big cats, as well as other wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, and zebras. Guided game drives, guided walks, and hot air balloon safaris are all available from the camp, offering guests a unique and unforgettable safari experience.
