Porini Amboseli Camp
Set in a private conservation area on the edge of the National Park, Porini Camp offers a beautifully simple and traditional safari experience with private game drives away from the crowds.
OVERVIEW
Porini Amboseli Safari Camp is a small and rustic camp within the Selenkay Conservancy – a key wildlife area for game moving out of Amboseli National Park. The 10 spacious guest tents retain all the charm and feel of the traditional mobile safari camps of a bygone era – beautifully simple, yet comfortable.
Tents are tastefully furnished, and have solar powered electric lighting with ensuite bathrooms. One of the tents is a family unit consisting of of two rooms with a lounge in between and a private veranda, ideal for families or group of friends travelling together.
After a full morning’s game drive and picnic lunch, guests are taken back to the camp to enjoy sundowners on the observation platform overlooking a waterhole popular with elephants, and on a clear day, views out towards the mighty Kilimanjaro.
