Zimbabwe & Botswana African Adventure
A journey through Victoria Falls, Chobe, the Okavango Delta and the Kalahari
Zimbabwe and Botswana reveal Africa in remarkable contrasts, from the mighty Zambezi River to the waterways of the Okavango and the endless salt pans of the Kalahari. This 12-night journey begins at Matetsi Victoria Falls, where days combine the grandeur of Victoria Falls with safari, river cruises and time in the vast Matetsi Private Game Reserve. From Zimbabwe, the journey continues into Botswana’s Savute Channel, a wildlife-rich corner of Chobe National Park where elephants gather at the water and lions, wild dogs, leopards and cheetahs roam the wilderness. The adventure then moves into the Okavango Delta and Xigera Safari Lodge, where mokoro excursions, boating, walking safaris and game drives reveal a landscape shaped by water and wildlife. The final three nights are spent at Jack’s Camp in the Makgadikgadi Pans, where the scenery shifts dramatically to the Kalahari Desert. Here, guests can meet habituated meerkats, walk with the Zu/’hoasi Bushmen, search for brown hyena and experience the extraordinary stillness of the salt pans beneath vast African skies. Seamlessly connected by road transfers and light aircraft, this journey brings together Victoria Falls, exceptional wildlife, the waterways of the Okavango and the otherworldly landscapes of the Makgadikgadi, creating a beautifully varied safari across Zimbabwe and Botswana.
