Elephant Bedroom Camp offers the opportunity to live simply and be at one with nature, and the 14 tented rooms strung along the riverbank offer the most spectacular views across the water to the mountains in the distance. The rustic but comfortable rooms are styled with subtle African tones, with beautiful private decks perfect for sitting and observing the wildlife that congregates along the riverbed.

Enjoy breakfast and lunch served al fresco, and spend the afternoon resting on your private deck watching animals go about their day, or choose from a range of activities to discover more of the surrounding reserve, including game drives, walking safaris, sundowners and cultural visits. At night, tuck into a delicious dinner in the dining area, while the warm glow of hurricane lamps sets the mood and animals move peacefully around the camp.

This classic safari camp is easily accessible all year round, with multiple nearby airstrips meaning guests can enjoy a short transfer of no longer than an hour, with a game drive en route.
