Each suite, crafted from local timber with makuti thatch roofs, boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, private verandas and outdoor showers, with an interconnected two-bedroom suite for families.

Activities include day and night-time game drives, guided nature walks and cycle rides to the local village, while in camp you can enjoy an indulgent massage, the inviting swimming pool or browse the boutique shop.

Look out for the famous tree-climbing lion, and if your visit falls at the right time of year, you may be lucky enough to see the crowds of stunning pink flamingos on the shores of the lake.
