Loldia House
A lovingly restored colonial farmhouse on the shores of Lake Naivasha in Kenya's Great Rift Valley.
OVERVIEW
Loldia House is an original Kenyan home set on a sprawling 6.500-acre wildlife conservancy. Surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens and endless rolling hills, Loldia House encourages a slow, gentle pace of life, inviting lazy afternoons by the pool and indulgent treatments in the spa.
A charming retreat, Loldia House hosts guests in the old family house and in cottages within the grounds. In the main house, there is one ensuite double room. Close by, there are three other guest cottages, each housing two separate rooms, all ensuite. The cottages are surrounded by pretty gardens with incredible views across Lake Naivasha to the now-extinct volcano, Mount Longonot.
Up on the hill there is Top Cottage, which has three double bedrooms and a large sitting room with an open log fire, making it ideal for families or close friends travelling together. Sunset views from the top are spectacular.
Beyond the house, there are guided nature walks, bird watching excursions, boat safaris on Lake Naivasha and day trips to nearby Hells Gate National Park or Lake Nakuru National Park.
