Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge

OVERVIEW

Sabyino Silverback Lodge is situated within 30 acres of lush verdant vegetation with dramatic views of the surrounding volcanoes and easy access to gorilla trekking in Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park.

The lodge has six beautifully appointed stone cottages and two suites, discreetly tucked away within the beautifully landscaped gardens of the Sabyino property. Feeling more like a forest retreat than a lodge, the traditional yellow stone cottages have terracotta roof tiles and polished wooden floors, and all the cottages and suites have a cosy fireplace, large ensuite bathroom and private veranda with breathtaking Virunga volcano views.

Delicious food is served in the main restaurant or on the outdoor deck in fine weather, with a comfortable area for after-dinner lounging complete with large fireplace and fully stocked bar. There’s also a spa and gift shop at the lodge. Guests can enjoy gorilla trekking, cultural visits, bird watching, hiking, and forest walks in search of the rare and beautiful golden monkey.
