Singita Lebombo
Singita Lebombo is the epitome of luxury safari elegance set amongst the treetops above the N'wanetsi River in the Kruger National Park. Unsurprisingly, Singita is regularly voted as one of the top lodges in South Africa by Condé Nast Traveller.
OVERVIEW
Inspired by the eagles’ nests built into the cliff face above the very same river, the lodge is set in a dramatic landscape surrounded by euphorbia trees in a remote private concession in the northern reaches of the Kruger National Park. Being so far north, it is away from the crowds that characterise the southern region and feels like an untouched slice of Africa.
Singita Lebombo is sleek and modern, with all the luxurious amenities the discerning traveller is looking for, yet discreet and authentic to the nature in which it sits, absorbing its natural surrounds in communal spaces inside and out, and in quiet spots for meditative pauses – something that is very easy to do here. There are just 13 suites spread along the cliff edge over the N’wanetsi River with spectacular views of the bush. The suites are elegantly decorated and ooze luxury appeal, each a private oasis in itself.
Guests are treated to some of the most exclusive game viewing in South Africa. This region of Kruger is wild and rugged and herds of elephant abound. Venture out on game drives and safari walks in the company of experienced local rangers. Back at the lodge, there’s plenty to help you unwind and relax, notably the spa, a well-stocked library and a lounger by the pools.
