OVERVIEW
In the heart of Lake Nakuru National Park, this luxurious boutique tented camp has sweeping views over Lake Nakuru. One of Kenya’s famous soda lakes in the Rift Valley, the lake is a seasonal feeding ground for thousands of flamingos. Just two and a half hours from Nairobi, the park supports four of the big five in a mix of woodland, bush and savannah habitats. Lake Nakuru National Park is a birding hot spot, with over 500 species, including large numbers of pelicans, and both greater and lesser flamingos.
Each of the 10 luxurious tents that make up the camp has spectacular 180° views of Lake Nakuru. The spacious tents are elegant, with a refined organic palette that breathes contemporary elegance. A freestanding bathtub is positioned to maximise the view, and the private deck is a prime spot from daybreak to dusk. The sensitive design enhances the flow between inside and out, and not a single tree was felled during the construction of The Cliff.
The restaurant features fine cuisine with delicious fresh ingredients lovingly prepared by the chef. The drinks menu includes a good selection of fine wines and spirits as well as barista-prepared coffee.
If you’d like to relax “at home” in between game viewing and birding, make time for a gym or yoga session, relax beside the pool or pamper yourself with a spa treatment or yoga class.
