Tribes of Omo Valley
An 8-day journey through Southern Ethiopia showcasing the extraordinary cultural heritage and breathtaking landscapes of the Omo Valley. Beginning in Addis Ababa, the adventure takes you to Jinka, the gateway to the Lower Omo Valley, where you'll visit the Mursi communities in Mago National Park. Continue to Turmi to experience the traditions of the Hamer people and visit the Karo villages along the Omo River, renowned for their intricate body painting and artistic expression. The journey then travels through the Arbore and UNESCO-listed Konso Cultural Landscape to Arba Minch, where you'll enjoy a scenic boat cruise on Lake Chamo and a visit to the traditional Dorze village of Chencha. From there, travel through the spectacular Great Rift Valley to Hawassa before returning to Addis Ababa with a stop at Abijatta–Shalla National Park. Throughout the tour, guests experience authentic cultural encounters, remarkable UNESCO World Heritage sites, and some of Ethiopia's most stunning natural scenery.
