Moremi Game Reserve

Enquire Now

In the heart of Botswana’s Okavango Delta lies the untouched wilderness of the Moremi Wildlife Reserve, a unique and diverse eco-system, considered by many as one of Africa’s finest and most beautiful reserves.

Sharing its mosiac of tiny palm islands, fairytale-like lagoons, papyrus rivers and shallow flooded pans are hippo, rhino and crocodile and an astonishing abundance of birdlife. The rare swamp-adapted red lechwe can also be seen wading through the waters here in large herds.

On the landmasses of Chief’s Island and Mopane Tongue, breeding African bush elephants are frequent visitors, marching in procession under the towering mopane trees. Huge herds of buffalo, antelope, impala, giraffe, wildebeest and zebra are also seen roaming this area – one of Africa’s finest for wildlife.

As you would expect, with such an abundance of prey, the Big Five can be spotted in good densities, with game viewing enjoyed on foot, from horseback, boats, or in traditional 4×4 vehicles.
